It is that time once again! It is back to school time!!!

Even if you don’t have children it means more traffic in the morning during the commute which means less time for you. If you are a parent you have to get the children to school, practice, games, etc… that takes time. Well a good Maid Service can help you with these issues. They can provide you with the time for you to be able to do other things.

Take some time today and think about how much time you spend cleaning. What else could you be doing with that time. Imagine if you had a maid service you could depend on to come to your home. You would have a clean home and would not have to worry about cleaning. All that time would be yours do do what you want to do.

Football season is coming up too. That means parties and get togethers. This is another area where a maid service can help. Just imagine have to clean up after the game . Who wants to do that? I sure don’t want to and I am sure you don’t want to either. The best way to handle this is to have your family and friends over and have the time of your life. Then after the game of the event hire a maid service to come over and get your house sparkling. It just makes so much sense to hire a maid service.

There are many gerat cleaning companies out there. Do your research and add one to your file for the times when you are ready to have the house clean and you feeling awesome. Go get a massage an while you do have your house clean. Now that is living!

Have an amazing day!!!

Spring cleaning goes beyond normal everyday cleaning. It’s a
major project of home revitalization: to make everything new
by removing dust and dirt, to make sure everything is in
good repair, and to put things in order, so that you will
have everything in your household in working condition for
the coming year.

Here are some tasks that are traditionally included in a
major spring cleaning:

* Put away winter clothes and take out spring and summer
clothing.

* Sweep and vacuum floors, walls, and corners.

* Wash floors and carpets…

* Clean window panes, sills, and frames. Replace thick
winter curtains that keep heat in with light summer curtains
that allow breezes through. Remove storm windows, hang up
screens.

* Brush or vacuum stuffed furniture and remove spots.

* Wash every surface in every room that has accumulated dust
or grime.

I like to finish a spring cleaning by bringing in loads of
spring flowers and placing them in vases in every room.

USE NONTOXIC & NATURAL CLEANERS

With so much cleaning going on, I always make sure to use
cleaning products that are simple, safe, and eco-friendly.

When choosing a cleaning product for a specific job, I use
the least-toxic, most-effective product, in the smallest
effective amount.

Cleaning products are the only household products regulated
by the Consumer Product Safety Commission under the 1960
Federal Hazardous Substances Labeling Act, which requires
products that contain hazardous chemicals to carry warning
labels. In general, it is best to avoid using products that
say “Danger,” “Poison,” or “Warning,” on the label. Many
safer products carry the “Caution” label, even though they
are acceptable to use. Fortunately, the least toxic products
voluntarily disclose their complete ingredients on the
label, so you can determine for yourself the safety of the
product. There are even cleaning products now made with
organically-grown ingredients.

Nontoxic cleaning actually requires very few specialized
ingredients. I do all of my cleaning with a squirt bottle of
fifty-fifty distilled white vinegar and water, liquid soap,
and baking soda. For laundry I use a natural soap powder and
chlorine-free oxygen bleach. Other substances I have on hand
for occasional cleaning needs are salt, lemon juice, borax,
and chlorine-free Bon Ami scouring powder.

SIMPLIFY YOUR CLEANING

While scrubbing away at your spring cleaning, there are two
things you can resolve to do in the coming year that will
make cleaning easier. These will also reduce the amount of
cleaning products you use, saving resources and money. But
the most important thing to me is that they save time and
reduce the amount of cleaning needed.

First, I incorporate preventive maintenance. I put a cookie
sheet on the rack under a casserole that is likely to spill
over, for example, which pre-empts the need to scour baked
on food from the oven. If the casserole spills, the cookie
sheet can be effortlessly soaked clean in a few inches of
water in the kitchen sink.

I also keep in mind the adage “A stitch in time saves nine,”
which means if you take that first stitch to fix the tear
before it gets bigger, you’ll save having to make nine
stitches later. In cleaning, this translates to wiping up
the spill when it happens, cleaning surfaces before they are
caked with dust and grease, just cleaning as you go while
there’s not much to clean. It’s only when we don’t clean
that we may need harsh chemicals to tackle what would have
been an easy job earlier.

“Clean your room well,” say the Shakers, “for good spirits
will not live where there is dirt.”

1. Value & Price: How much do you value your time? Rushed of your feet day in day out, no time to put your feet up let alone do the cleaning. With today’s demands on time your leisure time is getting smaller and smaller. With the average professional person at work or commuting 11 hours each day, In bed for eight, five hours remain, to get yourself up, showered, fed, and off to work, then at the other end of the day, cooking your dinner doesn’t leave much.

Let’s not leave out mums, she not only has to deal with all those other things, then she has the kids to chase after, washing, ironing, tidying, dropping the children off and before you know it pick them up, then there is quality time with the children. It must be like painting the forth bridge! as you finish you’ve got to start all over again.

When you think about the cost of a cleaning service think in terms of paying yourself to relax. Whatever the cost it has to be worth your time it will free up, let alone the peace of mind that you will get from knowing the job is done.

Tip 2 Choosing a company: When you are talking to companies, play the devil advocates. Think about all the things that might go wrong with the delivery of the service. It’s a true test for a company, have they thought things through? How will they deal with any given problems? Remember that you are paying for them to manage the problems. You don’t want the have to deal with any.

Tip 3 Accountability: I have been in cleaning all my working life and without exception, if you have two cleaners on any job and one misses something, they will cover for each other, or say “I did not know that had to done”.

Look for evidence that you know what is to be done. It is best to get this in black and white in a specification, and check that there is some kind of checking on standards from the company.

Tip 4 Questions: The old boy scouts saying “Be Prepared” If you have had cleaners before then you will have the experience to guide your questions. If not then find friends or family that have had experience with cleaners. Talk to them about the good and the bad side, write these questions down.

If you have done your home work the chances of getting a good service that will provide great cleaning week in week out, will improve. Remember that if you get it wrong. You will have to go through the process all over again.

With todays economy it is easy for clients to try to find people who can clean their houses on their own. It sounds good because the client thinks it will save a little money.

Think about this if one of the employees who works for a cleaning company approaches you to clean your house for less money it sounds like a good deal, but it is not it is stealing.

I know that may sound harsh – but it is true. A real cleaning company has many costs in order to run the business and bringing you on as a client  is just on of them. If this person is willing to go behind the person who has helped them get a job what else are they willing to do in your home?

Bottom line, is it is theft – so before you decide to take them up on the offer – make sure you understand the ramifications of your actions – at the end of the day you want the quality service and professionalism and when you hire someone in the regard it hurts the industry.

Also, when you work with individuals you must be careful with time and liability – you are now and employer and you must be careful because this opens up an whole new area!

Just a quick note – stick with a professional cleaning company and you will not have issues!

You installed a wall mount fan in the rooms that needed them and now that winter has come and gone, it’s time to put them back to good use. But sitting for awhile and not running, they have collected some dust and just need a good cleaning before starting them. Here are a few quick tips on taking care of that.

First, as with any electrical appliance, unplug it before dismounting it or disassembling it. Next is to remove it from its base on the wall. Use a ladder or step stool for this, not the kitchen chair. You want something sturdy under you as some models do weigh a bit.

On most models there are tabs located around the front grill holding it to the back. Using a screwdriver, and working clockwise, gently release the front grill from the rear. Cleaning the grills is quite simple, a damp cloth and a little detergent on the tough spots. Vacuum the grills before wiping them down will help with getting all the dust off.

Then on to the fan blade itself, wipe it down using the same damp cloth and detergent again. Be very cautious around the motor, taking care not to allow any water to get in. Dry all parts thoroughly before reassembly then remount the fan making sure all the hardware is tightened well, and plug it in and test it.

Regular cleaning of your fan will not only keep it running quiet, cut down on vibrations and also help to insure that it lasts you a long time. Read the instructions that come with it on proper disassembly procedures for cleaning as each fan style differs slightly from the other. Take care of your wall mount fan and it will take care of you.

Budgeting and financing in a business is a must that you should never neglect. You might find that there are things which your company does not need. If you even calculate these things, you will find that that these are unwanted costs that only sum up to huge amounts of money. You may be thinking if you need to cut on these things or not, but you should. Especially with the economic recession and all, you need to be sure about the budgeting that your company has. You should never lose precious money by wasting them on other things.

One of these costs that you might thing is unnecessary is your cleaning services. You may have had your own janitorial services for the longest time but now that you are thinking of it, you should just have had them outsourced in the first place. It is true that having your own cleaning services is such a hassle for your company. This would mean that you would have to treat them as part of your regular employees. There are certain costs attached to it like sick leaves, absences and other things. In fact, you do not really need to pay for them, right?

At this point, you should just let go of your janitorial staff and hire a professional cleaning company to just do the cleaning for you. This would really cost less than keeping your own in your company. Your costs would only involve the services that you would have to be done. When you add them up, your yearly costs would even have to be cut in half because you will have less responsibilities for these things. Plus, you will have total control on which specific services you would have done and when it should be done. You do not have to worry because they will truly ensure that the results of their cleaning will be the best that it can be.

Now that you have made the decision, you need to know what kind of cleaning company to look for. There are so many cleaning companies that you will have to choose from until you get to the one and only cleaning company for you. First, you would have to do your research within your own office and know which kind of services you would want to be done. From here, you can look for the varied options that have. There are cleaning companies which ensure cleaning by using the best methods, others with the best equipment and cleaning products while others have specialize natural techniques that they use when they clean. Whatever you may choose to hire, you need to pick which one is for you.

Ask people around you if there are any cleaning companies that will give the services that you want. If not, you can always rely on the internet to give you a couple of company names for you. Call them up and ask for an appointment so that you will be able to discuss the service as well as the prices that they charge for such. You should expect that cleaning companies will charge about $10-$20 an hour for cleaning services, but to expect this price to rise up as more specialized and high tech equipment are needed for some cleaning services. There are always cleaning companies which have negotiable prices depending on the frequency and the packages that they have. Always consult on these things when you ask about the prices for the cleaning services.

You can always ask a cleaning company on what cleaning products they use. You will have an idea on the costs of these cleaning products. You will never know until they ask because there are some cleaning companies which charge a high price even if they only use a low price cleaning solution for their cleaning. You should always be knowledgeable about these things. Take responsibility in asking about these things when it comes to your cleaning services. The good thing about this too, is that you will have an idea on how good these products can clean. A good cleaning company must use the best cleaning solutions in the market. Other cleaning companies will just pick out what can give them the least costs just to get maximum profit. Do this too for the equipment that the company uses.

Staff members of the cleaning company are an important factor when you choose a cleaning company. They must be trusted people and at the same time, they are people who must be skilled in the job that they do. In a cleaning service you must be very sure that you have staff members who can be trusted to leave alone in your offices. Remember that when they clean, they will be exposed to the valuable and documents that you keep in the office. They must remain untouched and at the same time, they must be kept properly. You will never know when an accident will happen and that they will be ruined. You need to ensure that whoever the company hires, they are people who have a clean background.

In relation to this, ask the cleaning company if they are insured and do offer bonds. These are crucial documents that you need to confirm that the company has. Insurances will prevent you from being liable should there be any accidents that will happen in your offices during a cleaning job. This will only incur costs and unnecessary expenses. On the other hand, bonds will protect your property from stealing and being damaged. Cleaning companies will be responsible if anything happens to your belonging in the offices when cleaning. They will usually pay or replace these things with new ones. You should always check for these when hiring a cleaning company.

A cleaning company is what you need for your business. It can actually cut the costs that you have when it comes to maintaining the cleanliness of your offices. Always make sure that you pick the cleaning company that will do the best job for you.
